Little kicker

Hey little man! You've been moving a lot more lately. Today I saw bump for a split second in my stomach.. It's so cool, weird, and crazy awesome at the same time. You're more than half way ready to come greet the world!

It's been an emotional week in the Gabbitas family. Hopefully you won't have to know any of the crazy that we've seen this week. Hopefully it'll all get better. But whenever I get sad or feel alone you give me a little kick and I remember I have you and your dad. Love you Taiyden! Always and forever!

You have a name!

We've been waiting to tell everyone your name because we wanted to be sure of if we were having a boy or a girl. Now we know that you are a boy!! We are soooo excited too!

So we are naming you Taiyden Seth Gabbitas.  It's after a 311 song called Taiyed. I talked more in detail about your name on our other blog you can see that here

We had our ultrasound today.  The one that came with a DVD.  You were so wiggly we had a hard time checking your heart rate. But I loved that you were wiggly it was way cute! Your uncle Ryan came with to see you.  I think he's pretty excited about you.  He'll be the one teaching you to snowboard.  The doctor told him that you would have him wrapped around your finger in no time. Uncle Ryan laughed but I know its true.  You already have me wrapped around your tiny adorable finger!

Not so secret

We had another Dr. appointment We got to hear your heart beat!  It was so amazing! your heart was beating 170 bpm.  and we got another picture:) you look like a little peanut!

Well little one, I haven't been writing because I've been feel not so great. I'm getting anxious to get to 12 weeks and hope I feel better. :)  For now I'm somewhere between 7 and 8 weeks, which means your probably not even an inch yet.

You're dad has been super amazing.  He puts up with all my whining about not knowing what I want to eat, and he goes and buys different things to see if it will help all the time.  He's the best there is! We are very lucky to have to him!

We got another picture of you!  We went again to the doctor on October 3rd because he just wanted to make sure you were okay. We get to see you again at our 8 week check up on the 27th.  I'm hoping your measuring more at 9 weeks than 8 when we go... but I'll love you either way!

We also told most of the Aunts and Uncles. We sent Aunt Katy a card for her birthday that said happy birthday Aunt.  She is so excited to meet to you!! And Dad just told his siblings one Saturday when we went to help fix the roof at grandmas.  We ended up seeing mostly everybody and I sent a text to the ones who weren't there. (Well the ones I have phone numbers for).  But I think Aunt Jamie is the most excited:)

We are all waiting for you and loving you!! Just 7ish more months!

Hello sweet baby!

On September 27th we had our first doctors appointment. Everything seems good so far and they took a lot of blood from me. We have another appointment on Monday because we couldn't get a good enough picture of you to be 100% sure.  But I think your adorable already:)

We have also told your Grandparents that your coming into the world soon. Seth's mom stopped by right after the doctors and we decided to tell her while she was there.  Then later we had to pick up my Dad and Yalanda at the airport so we told them at village inn on the way home.  My mom was being difficult and not answering her phone or being too busy to come over so we could tell her.  So I decided to FaceTime your dad and tell her when she came to visit me at work.  She was so loud and excited I thought for sure the entire building would know!  All of your Grandparents are going to love you so much! Just like me and your Dad!

Hey little baby!

Well hello!  I'm not entirely sure where to start.  I want to write you letters, even before you are born.  I want to continue to write you letters through your whole life. I want you to know just how much I really love you already! I've only known for sure about you for about 5 days. Right now your just our (your dad and me) cute little secret. But I seriously already love you!(yes I know I said that already)  I have my first doctors appointment tomorrow. I'm a little nervous and extremely excited!

Let's see it was Thursday September 22nd at about 4am and I couldn't sleep because you were giving me such heartburn, don't worry I'll make you pay for it later:) But I'll take it if it means I get to see your beautiful face soon. Anyway 4am... couldn't sleep, so I got up and thought I'm going to take a pregnancy test. (Even though your dad wanted me to wait until Saturday)  I was just too excited I needed to know. and you know what I saw? :

So I crawled back into bed and cuddled up to your dad and whispered 'we're gonna have a baby' 'Really?!' he said 'yup' I responded. And I couldn't stop smiling! But I was a little scared because that 2nd little line was a little light and I wanted to know for sure so I bought a better test later and got this:
