You had a great birthday! We went and rode the heber valley train and you loved it! We got held up by robbers who told us to put our hands up, got sung to, and got lassoed. 

Then we had dinner with grandma and got fun presents from mom, dad, grandma, Ryan, and Jamie and James.

Dentist

You went to the dentist and did so great! You loved it and couldn't stop talking about how they tickled your teeth, let you spray water on the carpet with the mouth wash thing, took pictures of your teeth, and gave you prizes. I'm so proud of how well you did!

Pulled out Your birthday shirt to wear you told me: no that's Josh's! 

You rubbed my arm and said: pretty arm! So clean!

Trying to put on shoes but the tongue was stuck inside: these crappy shoes are too little! 

I asked you if you burped you said: no it was just a hiccup.

You woke up and started knocking on your door so I came down and you ran out saying you needed to play with your new toy car. 

Movie

We took you to see big hero 6. You actually did really great. And afterwords I asked you if you wanted a picture with baymax and you said he was too scary and you laid on the floor to get away from him. 

But once we got outside you wanted your picture so we had to go back.

2 years old

I'm a little late posting this I'm sorry :)

You're pretty amazing... you love Jake and the neverland pirates and you love singing along with all the songs.  We got you a Jake sword and you march around the house with it singing the theme song all day long. you also like watching Daniel Tiger, Handy Manny,  Wild Kratz, and peter pan.

You like the song Royals by Lorde and know most of the words. and you try to sing along with every song on the radio.

You're getting excited for baby sister and talk to her everyday. You'll just randomly come up and kiss my tummy and tell her you love her. you're going to be an awesome big brother.

You call all penny's gold doblooms. You turn boxes and laundry baskets into pirate ships. 

You sing in the shower and everywhere really. You love all music. 

 

So Far Behind

Wow I'm behind!  I'm sorry lets see whats been going on?  You've been talking alot more telling us what you want and don't want.  You know most of your family members names and you love to run and jump up on to the couch. You also just finished your second round of swim lessons.

We went to visit your cousin Lily just after she was born in February. and you were so cute with her.

You're getting a new little sibling in October and sometimes you seem excited and other times you don't really care.  I guess we'll see how it goes when (s)he gets here.

You're really a joy to have in our lives and we love you tons!!

18 Months

You're growing so fast!  its impossible to keep up with but we are loving it!  You are talking a ton!  We still don't understand everything, but there a few things that sound the same, like socks, clocks and blocks.  and (a kind of unfortunate one) Jesus and penis sound the same :) I can't tell if Amen and the end just sound the same or if you really do say amen at the end of books too.  I asked you the other day if you were a big boy because big boys use the potty and you said NO NO NO and signed baby.  You amaze me all the time with how much you know.  You've also started saying No I'm full when we ask you what you want to eat.

You started Nursery at church.  So far you cry through the whole thing. hopefully it will get better soon. I think you would love it if you'd calm down and have fun.

You love pretending to talk on the phone, wearing mommy and daddy's shoes, playing with the zoo on fisher price.com, watching toy story, talking up storms, playing with the play school nativity set, honking noses, running around, exploring, playing with blocks and toy tools.

You are currently sitting on my lap giving LOVeS aND HELpINg WRiTE THis>  which is why that sentence got a bit weird. I love you so much!  I'm grateful every day that you chose me as your mom!

The little brother that never was

For the past month or do any time someone would say where's the baby you'd point to my tummy. You've been so cute! You have a little doll I gave you to prepare you for a new brother that you carry around and give kisses to. 

This week we found out your little brother will only be an angel. That we'll only meet him after we leave this earth, and become a family again on the other side. 

As I was breaking down and crying you came over to me and gave me loves, hugs and kisses. You are such a perfect little soul and I know part of your duty here is to help me through this. I'm so happy you're my son. I'm so happy you came to earth to be with us. Thank you for all of your love!

15 months

I'm way behind! Today you had your 15 month check up at the doctors. You weigh 24Lbs 5oz you're 32 and 1/2 inches tall, and your head is 19 and 1/4 inches. You got shots and only cried for a tiny bit.  You're so brave

You're talking lots. You say Nana, Grandpa, YaYa, Grandma, sponge bob, light, hot, cold, alligator, juice, cracker, water, pop tart, no, mama, dada, hot dog, door bell... and other words I can't think of right now.

You like to dance, sing, and try to whistle.

and we had a good vacation last month in Michigan with grandpa, YaYa, uncle Brandon and Aunt Brenda, Aunt Katy and Uncle Jon. and Uncle Ryan.
